Evening Party Theme: Blast from the past!

  Come dressed in your best 1960s regalia. Crew cuts, white T-shirts, psychedelic colors, long pointy collars, bell bottoms, flowers, and folk dance chic all welcome!


Community Music Event:
 

The goal of the community music event is to provide a chance for all AIFD musicians, both past and present, to share the spotlight by donating their live music talents for this once in a lifetime celebration. Individual musicians, small groups and organized bands are all encouraged.

If you would like to participate:

  1. Email livemusic@aifd.cc
  2. Provide your name, instruments played (including voice) and your performance preferences (one or more of the following):
    • (a) By yourself
    • (b) A group chosen by you and/or others prior to the event (if personnel will change for different tunes or sets of tunes, identify each configuration in a separate group)
    • (c) A pickup group created at the event
  3. For options (a) and (b) above, provide the following:
    • List of tunes you would like to perform, in order of preference
    • Names of performers
  4. Sound system and seating needs

AIFD’s music/sound committee will make every effort to accommodate your preferences. We anticipate a large enthusiastic response. AIFD appreciates your flexibility & cooperation. Thanks!

$50 (if registered between April 3 and April 30, 2012)

Deadlines:

  • April 2: Early registration ($40 for full event)
  • April 30: Cutoff for full-event registration (extended from April 27!)
  • There is no deadline for registering for the Saturday-evening party.
